Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Certifications: maintain group exercise certifications
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people
• Must complete required Y-USA trainings within first 30 days of employment

Responsibilities

• Leads energizing, fun, safe, and educational group classes as directed by the supervisor
• Answers questions from program participants and members to support their health goals
• Maintains accurate class attendance records
• Observes and adjusts approach to support diverse health, ability, and cultural needs
• Follows YMCA policies and procedures; responds to emergencies
• Performs other duties as assigned
