Job summary

Cliffside West LA in West Los Angeles, CA seeks a Part-time Group Facilitator to provide evidence-based group therapy and document sessions in our EMR. You will ensure licensing requirements are met and comply with state regulations for credentialing during the term of employment.

You will work with Clinical and Program Directors to design and deliver therapy groups, document notes promptly, and maintain accurate client charts in line with policy standards.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed or certified in California (LMFT, LCSW, PsyD, AMFT or CADAC).
• Maintain license and certification in good standing as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with Clinical/Program Director to develop therapy program.
• Delivers topics for scheduled groups.
• Completes group notes immediately after leading each session.
• Documents all services in the client chart.
• Adheres to DSS, DHCS and Joint Commission standards and regulations.

Job description

Position Summary:

As a Group Facilitator you will have the opportunity provide therapeutic treatment, with an emphasis on evidence-based drug and alcohol treatment methods. You will do this through facilitating scheduled groups and documenting the sessions in our EMR. While in this position, you shall maintain all applicable licenses and certification requirements and at-all-times during the term of this Agreement, meet all requirements of the State of California or other regulatory entity for such licensing, certification or credentialing.

Essential Job Functions:

• Collaborates with Clinical Director and/or Program Director and other professional staff to help develop comprehensive program of therapy, evaluation and treatment.
• Responsible for delivering appropriate topic to scheduled groups.
• Responsible for completing all group notes immediately after leading each group.
• Document all services provided in clients medical record.
• Knowledge of company’s policy and procedures, DSS, DHCS and Joint Commission standards and regulations. Adhere to all regulations and maintain accurate and timely client charting in compliance and according to the clinical guidelines.

Knowledge, Education, & Experience:

• Group facilitator must be licensed or certified (LMFT, LCSW, PsyD, AMFT or CADAC) in the state in which they are applying.
• Must maintain license and certification required by state law in good standing.

Employment Status: Part time

Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-2pm

Work location: West Los Angeles, CA

Compensation range: $29-31 hourly
