Job summary

HealthFitness is seeking a Program Coordinator- Group Exercise Director for our Alexandria, VA corporate wellness center. You will lead group exercise programming, coordinate events, and collaborate with staff to create engaging member experiences.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, growth opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package within a nationwide wellness organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or related field and 1+ years related experience or equivalent.
• Group Exercise certification from ACE/AFAA/NASM/ACSM/NETA or NCCA trainer cert required before start date.
• Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification with in-person component.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and implement health and fitness programs and events to maximize participation and engagement.
• Lead and supervise program delivery teams; ensure staff are trained and program outcomes are reported.
• Coordinate marketing, promotions, and client communications for program offerings.
• Deliver occasional group exercise instruction, fitness testing, and orientations as needed.
