Job summary

Intuit is seeking a Group Engineering Manager for Payments Platform to lead a 40–60 engineer team, owning reliability, evolution, and delivery of Intuit's critical payment processing systems. You will drive end-to-end roadmap and major migrations across Bill Pay, Merchant Payments, Gateway, and PPF core infrastructure.

Required: 12+ years in software engineering, 5+ years leading engineering managers, and fintech/financial infrastructure experience.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience with 5+ years leading engineering managers in a multi-team org.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale payments/fintech platforms in production.
• Strong depth in distributed systems, real-time processing, cloud-native architectures (AWS).
• Experience owning delivery against business KPIs and partnering with Product, Finance, Risk, and Compliance.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of the Payments Platform roadmap across Bill Pay, Merchant Payments, Gateway, and PPF core infrastructure.
• Drive quarterly sprint execution across multiple sub-teams, maintaining velocity while managing reliability and compliance.
• Lead platform migrations and modernization programs, including event bus modernization and API-first evolution.
• Establish engineering operating rhythms: sprint reviews, incident retrospectives, KPI tracking, cross-team dependencies.
