Job summary

Revolut is seeking a Group Credit Controller to lead IFRS 9/ECL governance across the group and support credit product growth across multiple locations, including retail and wholesale.

You will own month-end closes, liaise with auditors, and drive robust internal controls, all while turning data into actionable credit risk insights. This is a senior, impact-focused role within our Finance team.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant or equivalent certification.
• Expertise in IFRS 9 and ECL, including data, models, accounting, and disclosures.
• Experience with credit products across retail and wholesale.
• Strong data analysis skills, including SQL.
• Structured, logical problem-solving approach.
• High motivation and a results-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate accounting, reconciliation, presentation, and disclosure of financial statement line items.
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and annual close processes; include audits.
• Collaborate with Credit and Risk to ensure IFRS 9 compliance.
• Support launch and growth of credit products across multiple locations.
• Identify credit exposures and ensure proper accounting per IFRS 9 and IFRS 7.
• Serve on internal credit committees and act as ECL model owner.
• Establish and maintain robust internal controls (SOX) across credit and ECL.
• Act as primary contact for external auditors.
