Job summary

City Cruises in the United States seeks a Group Concierge to manage post-purchase logistics for group guests, build rapport, and drive upsell opportunities across events and itineraries.

You will coordinate event details, report to the General Manager or Senior Concierge Manager, and serve as a key liaison between sales and operations to ensure accurate product information, scheduling, and smooth guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive knowledge of all regional vessels, products and enhancements.
• Lead post-contract follow-ups including passenger counts and upsells to groups to drive incremental revenue.
• Upsell existing guests to higher-value options and enhancements.
• Follow guidance on when/how to follow up with clients for revenue opportunities.
• Handle objections using product knowledge.
• Maintain a flexible weekly schedule including night and weekend events and site visits.
• Greet clients upon boarding and serve as local resource when national account manager isn’t present.
• Serve as primary contact for client post-booking, conduct site visits and meet clients as needed.
• Be liaison between sales and operations during detailed events to ensure smooth execution.
• Communicate complete product details to Food & Beverage and Operations teams.
• Manage details for the cruise, including coordinating the event with the account management team.
• Develop rapport with guests, seek feedback, and encourage rebooking and surveys.
