Job summary

HealthFitness is seeking a Group Class Instructor to join our on-site team at the Atlanta client site. This on-call role delivers fun, effective, and safe group workouts for members across formats such as dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit.

Applicants must hold a current group exercise certification (ACE/AFAA/NASM/ACSM/NETA/NCCPT or similar) and CPR/AED/First Aid certification. 2+ years of instruction experience is preferred; onboarding and timecard systems experience is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA certification.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from AHA, ARC or ASHI required prior to start date.
• 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems.
• Applicants must meet pre-employment drug testing requirements.

About the role

HealthFitness is looking for a Group Class Instructor to join the fitness team at our corporate client site located in Atlanta, Georgia. This is an on-call/substitute position working on an as needed basis when regular instructors are unavailable.

• Responsible for providing fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members such as dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit.

Minimum Requirements

• Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.
• Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required prior to start date.
• 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.
• Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.

Compensation

The compensation range for this role is $50 - $65 per class. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
