Job summary

HealthFitness, a Trustmark company, is seeking a Group Class Instructor to join the fitness team at our corporate client site in Atlanta, GA. This is an on-call/substitute position, working as needed when regular instructors are unavailable.

You will be responsible for delivering fun, effective, and safe group exercise sessions, including dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit. Prior certification and CPR/First Aid are required, with 2+ years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Certification in group exercise from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT or other NCCA national certification.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification required prior to start date.
• 2+ years of group exercise instruction experience preferred.

• Provide fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members.
• Lead classes such as dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit.
• On-call/substitute as needed when regular instructors are unavailable.

About the role

HealthFitness is looking for a Group Class Instructor to join the fitness team at our corporate client site located in Atlanta, Georgia .

This is an on-call/substitute position working on an as needed basis when regular instructors are unavailable.

Responsible for providing fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members such as dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit.

Minimum Requirements

• Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.
• Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required prior to start date.
• 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.

Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test. The compensation range for this role is $50 - $65 per class. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
