Job summary

HealthFitness is seeking an energetic Group Class Instructor to join our Racine, Wisconsin on-site fitness team. Teach up to 10 classes per week, lead engaging, safe workouts, and support participants through varied formats such as cardio dance, kickboxing, and circuit workouts.

Candidates must hold a current group exercise certification (ACE, AFAA, NASM, ACSM, NETA or equivalent) and CPR/AED/First Aid within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.
• Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required within 30 days of hire.
• 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members (dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, circuit).
• Teach up to 10 classes per week at the Racine site and engage participants.
• Navigate onboarding and timecard systems as part of daily responsibilities.

Compensation: $20 - $25/hour. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
