Job summary

Omni Frisco Hotel at The Star in Frisco, TX is seeking a Reservations professional to ensure group bookings are handled efficiently, in line with four-diamond service standards. You will assist the Reservations Manager and Director of Revenue Management, review group blocks, run arrivals and no-show reports, monitor availability, and coordinate with clients and OmniRez HelpDesk to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Four-diamond / four-star customer service standards knowledge.
• Experience in Luxury Hotel Customer Service / Reservations preferred.
• Experience with Delphi, Opera ORS, and Opera PMS preferred.
• Experience with Passkey, NomadixCMS and iMeeting Planner preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Highly detail-oriented and organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multi-task while handling 50–60 future groups.

Responsibilities

• Review group blocks for cut-off date extensions and monitor blocks pre/during/post.
• Attend weekly group pickup meetings.
• Run group arrivals lists and no-show reports daily.
• Check for duplicate reservations and verify guest names and requests.
• Check for group reservation errors and contact the caller or group contact.
• Report to Reservations Manager and Director of Revenue Management.
• Collaborate with Convention Service Manager and Group Clients on rooming lists and billing.
• Complete Group Commission Report after group's departure.
• Monitor room type availability daily.
• Monitor non-guaranteed reservations and cancel as needed.
• Create and maintain group and transient room blocks with correct billing.
• Complete competition rate analyses as needed.
• Take in-house reservation calls from customers and OmniRez agents.
• Monitor Internet/FIT bookings, availability, and billing; process commissions.
• Assist VIP/internal reservations and communicate issues to supervisor.
• Handle fax and email reservations.
• Research outstanding Travel Agent Commissions for groups.
• Research and charge for no-shows, cancellations, and deposits.
