Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann Company, seeks a Solution Architect for the Group Benefits insurance platform in a hybrid NY/NJ/CT/PA setting. You will own solution architecture across a value stream, drive alignment with business capabilities, and lead design across applications, data, and integration while mentoring engineers and guiding strategic tech decisions.

The role emphasizes hands-on architectural leadership, collaboration with Product Owners, and ensuring secure, scalable delivery amid

Qualifications

Insurance domain experience is mandatory, preference for Group Benefits platforms.
Experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale solutions in complex environments.
Proven ability to architect high availability, resiliency, scalability and operational excellence.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (public, on-prem, hybrid), APIs & data integration, modern architectures.
Experience with Agile/product-based delivery models.
Strong communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
Familiarity with GenAI frameworks/tools is a plus.

Responsabilités

Own product and delivery architecture for a Group Benefits platform.
Drive architecture alignment with business capabilities and platform direction.
Design end-to-end solution architectures: application, integration, data, infrastructure.
Collaborate with Product Owners/Tech Leads on roadmaps, MVP scope and tradeoffs.
Enforce architecture standards and security requirements; reduce duplication.
Provide hands-on design guidance and code quality mentorship.
Lead PoCs for new capabilities and influence technology strategy.
Mentor engineers on architecture principles and problem-solving methods.
Improve platform design by reducing technical debt for scalability.
