Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a dependable General Laborer to support a Spicewood, TX construction project. The role focuses on trenching and ditch digging for underground electrical conduit and utility line installation, assisting electrical crews, and maintaining a clean, safe site. Location: Spicewood, TX. Pay: $19 per hour.

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. Project duration: ~2 months. Position type: Temporary/Contract Assignment.

Qualifications

Previous construction or general labor experience preferred, but not required.
Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to work safely around construction equipment and active construction operations.

Responsibilities

Dig trenches and ditches using hand tools and other approved methods.
Assist with the preparation of underground pathways for electrical conduit installation.
Remove dirt, rocks, debris, and other materials from excavation areas.
Backfill trenches after conduit and utility lines have been installed.
Load, unload, and transport tools, materials, and supplies throughout the job site.
Perform site cleanup and maintain an organized work environment.
Assist electrical crews with non-electrical support tasks.
Follow all company and job site safety policies and procedures.
Attend and participate in required safety meetings.
Perform other general labor duties as assigned by the supervisor.
