Job summary

HRG is seeking a Project Manager - Hydrogeology in Harrisburg, PA or surrounding offices. You will lead complex groundwater, water supply, and hydrogeologic projects, guiding multidisciplinary teams from planning through implementation.

The role emphasizes client relationships, regulatory coordination, and technical leadership. Strong experience in groundwater modeling, aquifer testing, and permitting is preferred; travel to sites and other offices may be required.

Qualifications

• Typically 5+ years of experience in hydrogeology, groundwater resources, or environmental consulting with project management responsibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• Professional Geologist (PG) license preferred; GIT designation may be considered depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead groundwater resource, hydrogeologic, environmental, and water supply projects through all phases from planning to implementation.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client experience for successful delivery.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, regulators, municipalities, and stakeholders; coordinate with engineers, GIS specialists, and staff.
