Job summary

Navarro Research and Engineering is seeking a Groundwater Modeler to support NNSS in Las Vegas, NV. The role develops MODFLOW-based groundwater models, integrates geologic datasets, and communicates modeling approaches to stakeholders.

Based in Navarro's Las Vegas office, you will work with multidisciplinary teams, produce maps and technical summaries, and ensure quality and documentation throughout model development and interpretation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related hydrogeology or geoscience field.
• Demonstrated MODFLOW modeling experience.
• Experience with EarthVision for geologic modeling and data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, calibrate, and document MODFLOW groundwater models for NNSS.
• Use EarthVision to visualize geologic and hydrogeologic data.
• Prepare model inputs, boundary conditions, hydraulic parameters, stress packages, calibration targets, model outputs, and technical documentation.
• Evaluate model results, perform sensitivity checks, and support interpretation of groundwater flow conditions.
• Generate maps, figures, cross sections, tables, and model visualizations for deliverables and client communications.
