A hydrogeology consulting firm is seeking a Senior Ground Water Modeler based in New Mexico or Colorado. Experience with developing MODFLOW-based groundwater models
Located in New Mexico or Colorado
Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide support for hydrogeologic analysis under the direction of our senior modelers/hydrogeologists
Perform quantitative hydrogeology and numerical flow and transport modeling
Compile, synthesize, and analyze data to develop conceptual and numerical models of groundwater flow systems
Analyze data using a variety of techniques such as GIS, geostatistics, statistics, or time-series analysis
Analyze aquifer pumping test data
Apply the aforementioned skills to project problems, including assessing the potential impacts for mine permitting, closure, and operations
Report preparation and technical presentations to clients, regulators, and other stakeholders
Other job duties may include short-term work in the field
