Job summary

HDR is seeking a Groundwater Modeler/Hydrogeologist to join our team in the United States. You will work under senior modelers on groundwater and contaminant fate and transport modeling projects, using established methods and data analysis tools.

The role involves data management, model setup, and QA, with opportunities to contribute to meetings, reports, and client presentations. We require a Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering/science or related field, strong analytical skills, and

Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering/science or closely related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team.

Responsibilities

Assist senior modelers on groundwater and contaminant fate and transport modeling projects.
Evaluate groundwater movement, contaminant fate and transport, and land subsidence risks.
Acquire, organize and analyze environmental data.
Set up and execute mathematical models.
Perform quality-control checks on model input and results.
Participate in meetings, proposal preparation, report writing and presentations.
Develop statistical and graphical comparisons of model results and data.
