Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH seeks a Groundsworker A to perform a wide range of campus grounds maintenance tasks year-round. This is a regular full-time position that requires physical fitness and the ability to work in all weather conditions.
Under supervision, you will work on turf, shrubs, beds, and drainage, operate a variety of equipment, assist with tree work, and support campus events by moving furniture and setting up stages. The role may include leading small work groups when needed.

Schedule: 40 hours per week, 12 months per year.
Position Purpose: Under minimal direction from supervisory staff, performs a wide variety of often strenuous physical tasks associated with the maintenance of campus grounds using appropriate methods and techniques. Tasks include, but are not limited to, turf, shrub, and planting bed maintenance, assistance with tree work, repairs to and maintenance of roadways, parking areas, walkways and associated features, and snow and ice removal. The role also involves moving furniture, equipment and supplies around the Dartmouth campus and supporting set‑up and take‑down for campus events throughout the year. The holder will lead and direct small work parties and must be capable of operating a variety of heavy, medium, and light equipment.
