Job summary

SavATree is looking for a Groundsperson to join our Tree Care team in Wisconsin. You will work outside on client properties, performing pruning, removals, and related tree care tasks with a focus on safety and high-quality service.

Ideal candidates will have experience with pruning large trees, knowledge of species characteristics, and familiarity with chainsaws and aerial lifts. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and ready to contribute to a high-performing crew.

Qualifications

• Experience with proper pruning practices including large shade trees and ornamentals.
• Ability to identify native and introduced tree and shrub species and have a working knowledge of each species’ characteristics.
• Experience with tree care safety standards.
• Practical knowledge of chainsaw and equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Pruning, removals, cable bracing and other concepts related to tree care.
• Operate all equipment safely while providing excellent service to clients.
• Work as part of a General Tree Care crew to deliver high-quality tree care on client landscapes.
