Job summary

SavATree is hiring a Groundsperson to work outdoors on our Tree Care Crew, visiting client properties to perform pruning, removals, and related tasks with a focus on safety and quality.

You will operate equipment, follow industry standards, and collaborate with experienced teams. The role offers hands-on training, growth opportunities, and relocation support to other SavATree locations where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience with proper pruning practices including large shade trees and ornamentals.
• Ability to identify native and introduced tree and shrub species and have a working knowledge of each species’ characteristics.
• Experience with tree care safety standards.
• Practical knowledge of chainsaw and equipment operation.
• Experience with aerial lifts (bucket truck).
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Prune and maintain trees as part of a General Tree Care crew.
• Assist with removals, cable bracing, and related tree care tasks.
• Safely operate all equipment and provide excellent service to clients.
