Job summary

SavATree is seeking a Groundsperson to work on our General Tree Care crew, performing pruning, removals and cable-bracing on client landscapes. You will operate equipment and deliver high-quality service in outdoor settings across local properties.

Ideal candidates have pruning experience, the ability to identify tree/shrub species, and a strong commitment to safety. Authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with proper pruning practices including large shade trees and ornamentals.
• Ability to identify native and introduced tree and shrub species and have a working knowledge of each species’ characteristics.
• Experience with tree care safety standards.
• Practical knowledge of chainsaw and equipment operation.
• Experience with aerial lifts (bucket truck).
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Work on General Tree Care crew to provide high quality tree care to our clients.
• Involved in pruning, removals, cable bracing and other concepts related to tree care.
• Safely operate equipment and perform assigned tasks while providing excellent service to clients.
