Job summary

SavATree's General Tree Care Team seeks a Groundsperson to work outdoors on pruning, removals, cable bracing and other tree-care tasks across local properties. You will safely operate chainsaws and equipment, identify tree and shrub species, and uphold safety standards while delivering high-quality service to clients in the community.

Experience with large shade trees and ornamentals, plus willingness to travel within the service area, are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience with proper pruning practices including large shade trees and ornamentals.
• Ability to identify native and introduced tree and shrub species and have a working knowledge of each species’ characteristics.
• Experience with tree care safety standards.
• Practical knowledge of chainsaw and equipment operation.
• Experience with aerial lifts (bucket truck).

Responsibilities

• Pruning, removals, cable bracing and other tree care tasks.
• Operate equipment safely while performing tasks.
• Provide excellent service to clients on-site.
