Job summary

SavATree is seeking dedicated team members for its General Tree Care crew in Wisconsin’s Mequon area. This role involves outdoor work, pruning, removals, and ensuring the health and beauty of clients’ landscapes while transporting equipment to job sites.

Qualified candidates will have pruning experience, ability to identify tree and shrub species, and familiarity with safety standards. CDL and valid driver’s license strongly encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience with proper pruning practices including large shade trees and ornamentals.
• Ability to identify native and introduced tree and shrub species and have a working knowledge of each species’ characteristics
• Ability to climb without spurs
• Experience with tree care safety standards
• Practical knowledge of chainsaw and equipment operation
• Experience with aerial lifts (bucket truck)

Responsibilities

• Prune and perform removals on trees as part of the General Tree Care crew.
• Carry out cable bracing and other tree care tasks as required.
• Safely operate equipment and company vehicles on job sites.
• Provide excellent service to clients and maintain landscape health.
