Job summary

XKIG is hiring a Groundsperson to support the crew by clearing brush and trees from the ground, performing job-site cleanup, and assisting in storm restoration work. A valid driver’s license is preferred and at least one year of line clearance experience is expected.

Applicants must pass a background check and drug screen. The role is full-time with health, dental, and vision coverage, plus a 401(k) option. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have at least one year of professional line clearance experience.
• Driver's license preferred.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.
• Travel for storm restoration work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and enforce safe practices.
• Clear debris and work from the ground to remove brush and trees.
• Load and unload trucks with logs, brush and debris; feed brush into the chipper.
• Set up and break down road signs and flag traffic for safety.
• Operate trucks and equipment and perform basic maintenance as needed.
• Assist with storm restoration duties when required.
