Job summary

Joshua Tree Experts in North Dallas is seeking an experienced Groundsman & PHC Technician to support our GTC crew with pruning, stump grinding, and PHC work. You will assist with equipment prep and ensure drop zones are safe while climbers are aloft.

This full-time, year-round position offers paid training to obtain industry licensing and a workplace that values safety and work-life balance. Join a growing team serving the North Dallas area.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Ability to work 40+ hours per week.
• Lift at least 25 pounds and work in adverse weather.
• Excellent communication skills.
• PHC experience a plus.
• Pesticide Applicator license a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist crew with equipment and vehicle preparation daily.
• Ensure drop zones are safe for coworkers and the public.
• Perform pruning and reducing alongside the Tree Care Crew.
• Safely use tree care equipment, including gas-powered saws, pole saws, and chippers.
• Load and unload trucks and chippers with logs, brush, and debris.
• Follow directions from crew leaders and climbers and maintain/service equipment, as needed.
• Assist with Plant Health Care (PHC) services, including sprays, soil injections, and fertilization.
• Provide friendly and excellent customer service.
• Follow safety culture and safety procedures, including traffic control for job sites.
• Report to work on time each day and maintain a professional image.
