Job summary

A leading tree care company in Central North Dallas is seeking an experienced Tree Care Groundsman. You will assist the crew with daily equipment preparation, ensure safety at drop zones, and perform essential pruning tasks. Ideal candidates should have at least two years of tree care operations experience and a valid driver's license. Qualifications

• Minimum of two years experience in Tree Care Operations.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
• Ability to work 40 hours or more each week.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
• Willingness to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Excellent ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist crew with equipment and vehicle preparation daily.
• Perform pruning and reducing of trees.
• Set up safety and traffic control measures for job sites.
• Safely use tree care operations equipment included but not limited to gas powered saws, pole saws/clips, and chippers.
• Load and unload trucks and chippers with logs, brush and debris.
• Reports to work on time each day.
• Follow directions from crew leaders and climbers.
• Maintain professional image.
• Provide friendly and excellent customer service.
• Maintain and service equipment, as needed.
• Follows safety culture and safety procedures.
• Set up safety and traffic control measures for job sites.
