Job summary

Joshua Tree Experts in Addison, Texas seeks a Groundsman & PHC Tech to join our tree care team. You will support a 2–4 person crew with tree removal, pruning, stump grinding, and PHC services, gaining hands-on experience across our growing outdoor services.

This role emphasizes safety, reliable work ethic, and customer service as you help ensure safe drop zones, operate equipment, and learn industry certifications through paid training.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds and work in adverse weather.
• Strong communication skills and reliability for daily duties.
• Plant Health Care experience is a plus and CPR/First Aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist tree crew with equipment and vehicle prep daily.
• Maintain safe drop zones for coworkers and the public.
• Prune and reduce trees as directed.
• Safely operate tree care gear including gas saws, pole saws and chippers.
• Load/unload logs, brush, and debris from trucks and chippers.
• Support PHC services such as soil injections and applications.
• Provide friendly customer service and uphold safety procedures.
