Job summary

Joshua Tree Experts in Potomac Valley is seeking a Tree Care Groundsman to support 2-to-4 person crews. You will assist in tree removal, pruning, stump grinding and wood chipper operations, learning the trade from experienced climbers and operators.

This full-time role offers hands-on experience, a clear path for growth, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service within a professional team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in tree care operations.
• Valid driver’s license.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Ability to work 40+ hours per week.
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.
• Willingness to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Excellent communication skills.
• First Aid and CPR Certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Set up safety and traffic control measures on job sites.
• Assist with pruning and reducing; prepare equipment and vehicles.
• Safely operate tools and maintain equipment.
• Report to work on time and maintain a professional image.
