Job summary

Westminster Winter Park in Winter Park, FL is seeking a Groundskeeping Supervisor to lead the maintenance team in caring for flower beds, shrubs and irrigation systems. You will oversee staff, coordinate work orders, and ensure safe, high-quality facility upkeep for residents.

This role reports to the Director of Maintenance and offers a full-time schedule. Responsibilities include supervising crew, monitoring tasks, ordering supplies, interacting with vendors, and training staff on HVAC,

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent, or three years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, write and speak English and follow written and oral directions.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage assigned staff; coordinate work, repairs and maintenance schedules.
• Monitor daily, weekly and monthly tasks/work orders for building and equipment maintenance.
• Maintain and order maintenance supply inventory.
• Interact with contractors or vendors regarding repair visits.
• Coordinate building and equipment repair projects with staff and contractors.
• Train staff on troubleshooting and repair of electrical, plumbing and A/C systems.

We are currently searching for a Groundskeeping Supervisor to work in the Maintenance Department. In this role, the groundskeeper supervisor is directly responsible for the maintenance of flower beds, shrubs, hedges, and entire irrigation systems. Oversees the performance of the lawn service contractor
and performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Maintenance. This position reports to the Director of Maintenance.

Schedule: Full Time position | Weekdays & EOW

Essential job functions:

• Manage and supervise assigned staff members. Coordinate work, repairs and maintenance schedule of staff. Assign work orders to staff.
• Monitors daily, weekly and monthly tasks/work orders for building and equipment maintenance.
• Manages, maintains and orders maintenance supply inventory.
• Interact with contractors or vendors with regards to repair related visits.
• Coordinate building and equipment repair projects with staff and contractors.
• Train and develop staff on how to troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing and A/C systems.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
