Westminster Winter Park is recruiting a Groundskeeper to support the Maintenance Department in Winter Park, FL. The role covers upkeep of flower beds, hedges, irrigation systems, and coordinating with the lawn service contractor.

The position reports to the Director of Maintenance with a full-time weekday schedule. Essential duties include debris removal, gutter cleaning, pressure washing, irrigation maintenance, and campus beautification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–2 years of related landscaping experience.
• Experience in horticultural work; license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily blowing of walkways and debris removal across the campus.
• Clean leaves/debris from gutters and residential units; ladders may be required.
• Pressure wash walkways and driveways across the property.
• Maintain irrigation equipment in good working condition.
• Beautify the grounds for the entire campus.

We are currently searching for a Groundskeeper to work in the Maintenance Department. In this role the groundskeeper will be directly responsible for the maintenance of flower beds, shrubs, hedges, and entire irrigation systems. Oversees the performance of the lawn service contractor and performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Maintenance. This position reports to the Director of Maintenance. Schedule: Full Time position | Weekdays

Essential job functions:

• Daily blowing of walkways and collect debris throughout the entire campus/property.
• Clean and remove leaves/debris from all gutters of buildings and residential units (when applicable).
• Clean gutters and downspouts on single family residences and town homes. Must climb ladders to perform this duty.
• Pressure wash walkways and driveways throughout the entire campus/property.
• Maintain the irrigation equipment in proper working conditions on the entire property.
• Responsible for the beautification of the ground for the entire campus/property.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
• and 1 - 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Skilled with landscaping and/or ground keeping tasks combined with one year experience.
• Experience in the horticultural, preferably licensed.

Requires Skills:

• Ability to read, write and speak the English language and understand and follow written and oral directions.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
