Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid Ohio driver license and evidence of satisfactory driving record for insurability by university
• Six (6) months experience in grounds maintenance or equivalent combination of education and experience
• May be required to comply with periodic safety requirements prescribed by state and/or federal standards.
• Knowledge of: safety practices; grounds maintenance; snow removal; tool and equipment maintenance and repair; horticultural procedures and practices.
• Skill in: operating varied grounds maintenance and snow removal tools and equipment.
• Ability to: read instructions in written, oral, and picture form; add subtract, multiply, divide, and calculate fractions, decimals, and percentages; demonstrate dexterity and physical fitness; routinely lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds); handle inquiries and give directions; cooperate with co-workers on assigned projects/tasks.
