Oklahoma City Housing Authority is seeking a Maintenance Grounds Worker in Oklahoma City, OK. The role covers lawn and grounds upkeep, general repairs, and ensuring occupied and vacant units remain well-maintained.

Salary Range: $31,200.00 - $40,622.00
A New Hire Signing Bonus of $1,000 is offered for this position.
Signing bonuses will be awarded in 2 equal $500 payments. The first payment will be made once the employee has completed one full 2 week pay period. The second payment will be made upon successful completion of the employees Six Month Introductory Period.
Relates to maintenance work necessary to maintain buildings, grounds and equipment.
Directly responsible to Lead Maintenance Affordable Housing.
This position is not eligible to telework.
Education: High School Diploma, or equivalent, with vocational school training or three years Grounds Maintenance related employment or a combination thereof.
Able to lift, raising or lowering, 50 pounds. Near vision sufficient to read and complete work orders and forms. Hearing and speech sufficient to communicate effectively in person and by radio and telephone. Ability to stretch, bend, stoop, lift and reach for extended periods of time. Ability to access all areas of Authority properties. Work conditions include daily exposure to one or more disagreeable factors, such as fatiguing physical exertion, burns, sprains, noise, glare, weather, etc. All physical requirements are evaluated based to the ability to perform, with or without reasonable accommodations under the ADA.
