Job summary

East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania is seeking a Groundskeeper Student Helper to assist with seed planting, lawn care and general grounds maintenance across the campus. You will work with staff to perform watering, fertilizing, sodding and trimming of lawns and flowerbeds, ensuring campus beauty and safety.

This role requires current ESU student status and involves light to moderate physical work, including lifting up to 50 pounds. The position is limited to up to 20 hours per week.

• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist with seed planting, fertilize placement & snow removal with no motorized equipment.
• Assist with general grounds maintenance.
• Support the planting and care for flowers, grass seed, sod and landscape material.
• Help staff by participating in the watering, fertilizing, sodding, trimming, and cleaning of campus lawns and flowerbeds.
• Help maintain campus regulatory and street signs.
• Support with cleaning the campus grounds of debris.
• Help staff with cleaning campus storm and roof drains.
• Assist with prune campus trees and ornamental plants.

Additional Information:

• Work up to 20 hours a week subject hours to change.
• Hourly Rate $15.00
