Role Overview: The Groundskeeper/Porter maintains the physical appearance and safety of the community grounds, pools, and buildings efficiently.

What You’ll Do

• Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of grounds and common areas.
• Monitor property conditions and address unsafe or unclean situations promptly.
• Maintain the pool, pool areas, and furniture.
• Participate in community improvement and preventive maintenance programs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Community and Service Manager.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of property maintenance experience preferred.
• Maintain professionalism and courtesy with residents, visitors, contractors, and colleagues.
• Communicate effectively and respond to residents' requests professionally.
• Use power and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Manage time well amidst interruptions and changing priorities.
• Work independently, be accountable, and self-motivated.
• Pass criminal background screening.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, or have dependable transportation.
• If qualified, complete the Wonderlic pre-employment assessment.
