Job summary

The Sycamores in Vacaville, CA seeks a Groundskeeper/Porter to maintain community grounds, perform custodial tasks, and support the maintenance team. You’ll help keep walkways, common areas, and outdoor spaces clean and safe, providing friendly service to residents and guests.

Reliable and physically capable individuals are encouraged to apply; weekend availability is required. Prior groundskeeping or janitorial experience is a plus, but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
• Experience in groundskeeping or janitorial roles preferred but not required.
• Ability to work outdoors and perform physical labor in all weather conditions.
• Weekend availability required (days off: Sunday and Monday).
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Maintain community grounds including walkways, parking lots, and common areas.
• Perform custodial duties such as sweeping, blowing, pressure washing, and trash removal.
• Clean outdoor furniture, fixtures, and assigned maintenance areas.
• Report safety concerns or maintenance needs to appropriate team members.
• Provide courteous, helpful customer service to residents and guests.
• Support the maintenance team with additional tasks as needed.

Your Role:
As a Groundskeeper at The Sycamores, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the overall cleanliness, safety, and much more for our community. Your attention to detail, strong work ethic, and commitment to excellent service will help create a welcoming environment for residents and guests alike.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain community grounds including walkways, parking lots, and common areas
• Perform custodial duties such as sweeping, blowing, pressure washing, and trash removal
