Job description

Description

To maintain the overall cleanliness of the property, provide assistance to the maintenance team in preparing apartments for occupancy, and maintaining pool quality levels.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provide a team-oriented, positive working environment for the entire staff, including but not limited to keeping the team motivated with positive reinforcement.
2. Comply with all community and safety policies, including wearing a back belt and safety glasses when needed.
3. Follow all site and company policies, adhere to dress code, and comply with Fair Housing Rules.
4. Maintain a clean and attractive environment around the Leasing Office, Clubhouse, Pool, and all common areas.
5. Remove graffiti on the same day it appears.
6. Maintain clean streets, curbs, and sidewalks; paint curbs and property as needed.
7. Inspect and clean the property from exterior fences, sweep breezeways and steps.
8. Keep the property free of trash, debris, and animal feces; report consistent violations.
9. Maintain cleanliness of laundry rooms, doors, light globes, pool area, pool furniture, playground equipment, and grounds.
10. Empty trash receptacles and ash urns regularly; maintain clean trash enclosures and dumpsters.
11. Report inoperable vehicles to the Property Manager.
12. Assist in apartment make-readies and carpet shampoos.

Requirements

1. Excellent communication skills.
2. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (not expired, suspended, or revoked).
3. Flexible schedule to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
4. Willingness to travel occasionally, including working at other property locations or overnight trips.
5. Ability to work under diverse weather conditions.
6. Clear and concise communication in English, both orally and in writing.
