Job summary

Envolve Community Management Company is seeking a friendly, self-motivated Groundskeeper/Porter to join Middlebrook Trace Apartments in Staunton, VA. This part-time role offers 25 hours per week with an hourly pay rate up to $15.

You will perform grounds maintenance, basic upkeep of the property, inventory of supplies, and assist with make-readies and light maintenance tasks. Reliable transportation and a high school diploma or GED are preferred, with drug/background checks required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• General maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans grounds and removes litter; maintains daily upkeep of property buildings and grounds.
• Cares for inventory and upkeep of supplies and equipment for the property/management company.
• Reports unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Responds courteously and efficiently at all times; adheres to safety policies and OSHA standards.
• Available to work on an on-call basis; assists with make readies and basic maintenance tasks.

Currently, Envolve is searching for a part time Groundskeeper/Porter to work at Middlebrook Trace Apartments, 25 hours per week.

Hourly pay rate - up to $15 per hour

Some duties are below but may not be all inclusive

• Cleans grounds and removes litter.
• Responsible for the daily upkeep of the property buildings and grounds which includes cleaning and removing of trash.
• Responsible for the care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the property and/or the management company.
• Responsible for reporting unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Responsible for courteous, efficient response at all times.
• Be aware of and operate within OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all times.
• Responsible for thorough knowledge of management company policies and property policies.
• Responsible to be available to work on an on-call basis.
• Responsible for assisting with make readies.
• Assisting with basic maintenance tasks

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• General maintenance experience preferred

Reliable Transportation Required.

Drug Testing and Criminal Background Required.
