Job summary

Envolve Community Management Company is seeking a part-time Groundskeeper/Porter to join the Cedar Trace Apartments team in Durham, NC. This role focuses on maintaining clean grounds, orderliness of the property, and assisting with basic maintenance tasks.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, reliable transportation, and the ability to work on-call. Drug testing and background checks are required, and the role is paid at $19 per hour for 25 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• General maintenance experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Cleans grounds and removes litter.
• Upkeep of the property buildings and grounds, including trash removal.
• Care, maintenance, and inventory of supplies and equipment owned by the property/management company.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Provide courteous, efficient responses at all times.
• Operate within OSHA standards and company safety policies.
• Be familiar with management company and property policies.
• Be available to work on an on-call basis.
• Assist with make readies and basic maintenance tasks.

Currently, Envolve is searching for a full-time Groundskeeper/Porter to work at Cedar Trace Apartments in Durham, NC.

Some duties are below but may not be all inclusive:

• Cleans grounds and removes litter.
• Responsible for the daily upkeep of the property buildings and grounds which includes cleaning and removing of trash.
• Responsible for the care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the property and/or the management company.
• Responsible for reporting unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Responsible for courteous, efficient response at all times.
• Be aware of and operate within OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all times.
• Responsible for thorough knowledge of management company policies and property policies.
• Responsible to be available to work on an on-call basis.
• Responsible for assisting with make readies.
• Assisting with basic maintenance tasks

Requirements: High school diploma or GED preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience General maintenance experience preferred

Reliable Transportation Required.

Drug Testing and Criminal Background Required.

Part time, 25 hours per week - $19 per hour
