Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Groundskeeper in Kendall, FL to maintain the building exterior and surrounding grounds. The role requires operating lawn care equipment and following safety guidelines to ensure clean, orderly outdoor spaces.

The position is full-time and exempt, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 5:00pm to 1:30am. Compensation is $16.50 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits and 401k with company match. AEDT processes may apply for candidate screening.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Must have experience using hand held tools such as weed cutter, push lawn mower, hedge trimmer, edger, leaf vacuum, blower and others.
• Multiple language fluency is desirable.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Must comply with OSHA and EPA guidelines concerning storage and use of chemical substances.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Cuts grass, maintains lawn, trims around trees, walkways and markers.
• Clears debris and maintains drives and walkways in safe condition.
• May be required to assist in the loading and unloading of supplies, equipment and/or merchandise.
• Maintains, services, cleans and properly stores equipment.
• Ability to properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using this equipment.
