Job summary

The City of Hopkinsville is seeking a grounds maintenance worker to care for parks, cemeteries and city facilities. The role involves outdoor manual labor with equipment operation and safety in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate mowers, weed eaters, blowers and other grounds equipment.
• Maintain parks, cemeteries, and city-owned facilities.
• Assist Public Works with maintenance and events support.
• Refuse and litter control; plant, prune and mulch as required.
• Assist with burial site preparation and related tasks.
• Work with supervision to complete duties with limited supervision.
