Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 1 year grounds/facilities maintenance experience or equivalent.
• May require driver’s license and specialized equipment certifications.
• Continued employment contingent on licenses/certifications being active.

Responsibilities

• Perform grounds maintenance for district facilities, including landscaping, athletic fields, seasonal lawn care and snow removal.
• Operate common grounds maintenance equipment and perform manual tasks.
• Maintain irrigation systems, trim trees/shrubs, and keep areas clean and safe.
• Load, haul, and deliver furniture/equipment; inspect equipment and perform minor repairs.
• Follow safety rules, maintain logs, and establish positive relations with staff and students.
• Assist in maintaining fields for events and ensure safe work zones.
