Job summary

Legend Management Group is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the beauty and curb appeal of our communities in Virginia and Maryland. You will care for grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing offices, parking lots, and community buildings, while following a rotating schedule including weekends.

You will report to the Service Manager and work with a team to ensure safety, quality, and timely upkeep.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of groundskeeping experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, use ladders and work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Remove trash from office, common areas and community.
• Assist in the preparation of market-ready units including remove trash from vacant apartments to make-ready.
• Paint curbs, signposts, playground equipment, fences, and other grounds items.
• Report maintenance concerns and safety issues for repairs on apartments, models, clubhouse and common areas.
• Maintain exterior lighting and upkeep of grounds equipment and supplies.
• Assist in storm damage response and snow removal.
