Job summary

DoubleTree by Hilton Miami Airport Convention Center is seeking an experienced Groundskeeper to maintain the exterior grounds and presentation of the hotel and convention facilities. This on-site role focuses on trash removal, debris control, and proactive maintenance to ensure a welcoming, safe environment for guests and staff.

Responsibilities include routine exterior upkeep, landscaping support, and coordinating with Engineering, Housekeeping, Security, and events teams.

Qualifications

• Previous groundskeeping or exterior maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in hot and humid South Florida weather.
• Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform manual tasks.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of all exterior areas.
• Collect, empty, and dispose of trash from exterior areas and entrances.
• Sweep, blow, and clean exterior surfaces as needed.
• Assist with basic landscaping tasks and weed control.
• Support with convention center exterior setup and events as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to uphold property standards.
