Job summary

The Franklin Group is hiring for a Groundskeeper at Tri City Properties in Petersburg, VA. You will maintain the grounds, assist with make-ready tasks, and ensure clean, safe, and well-kept outdoor spaces for residents and guests.

Hourly pay ranges from $13.60 to $23.52, with a non-exempt status. No supervisory responsibilities. Requires basic education and physical ability to handle manual tasks and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Education/experience: less than high school or up to 1 month related experience.
• Physically capable of performing duties including lifting up to 50–75 lbs.
• Ability to read simple words and numbers; speak simple sentences.

Responsibilities

• Clean common, amenity and ground areas daily; water and upkeep landscaping as instructed.
• General upkeep of community buildings and grounds; clean and remove trash.
• Care, maintenance and inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Assist with make-ready and miscellaneous duties as requested.
• Maintain professional appearance and behavior at all times.
