Job summary

Above The Rest Staffing is seeking an Apartment Groundskeeper / Entry Level Maintenance Tech in Denver, CO. The role involves routine groundskeeping, plant care, irrigation system upkeep, and collaboration with the maintenance team to ensure a safe, clean, and visually appealing living environment for residents.

The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with compensation starting at $20–$21 per hour DOE and weekly pay. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation recommended.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in landscaping or horticulture is a plus.
• Proven experience in grounds keeping with knowledge of plant care, and general outdoor maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing time and priorities effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and an eye for maintaining a visually appealing landscape.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Reliable Transportation.
• Criminal Background Check conducted upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine grounds keeping tasks, watering plants, and maintaining flower beds.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of sidewalks, parking areas, and common areas, including picking up trash, sweeping, and removing debris.
• Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance issues, safety hazards, and landscaping needs.
• Assist with the installation and upkeep of irrigation systems and outdoor lighting fixtures.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to address repair needs and maintain a well-functioning property.
• Maintain inventory of landscaping supplies and equipment and communicate restocking needs to management.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a secure and hazard-free environment for residents and staff.
