Job summary

Sun Communities is seeking a reliable Groundskeeper to maintain outdoor spaces across our communities. The role involves mowing lawns, weed control, planting flowers, irrigation checks, and basic snow removal where applicable.

Responsibilities include keeping the property presentable, operating maintenance equipment, handling trash removal, and assisting with pool care as needed. A high school diploma and a valid driver's license are required, with prior groundskeeping experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months groundskeeping experience preferred; 6 months in general grounds maintenance required.
• Must have valid driver's license and ability to work outdoors in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain community appearance per curb appeal standards.
• Maintain and operate community vehicles and equipment.
• Collect trash and debris daily; empty containers.
• Inspect and repair irrigation systems.
• Perform lawn care including mowing, weed control, planting, mulching.
• Support pool maintenance if applicable.
• Follow safety procedures and report maintenance issues to the manager.
• Handle other duties and special projects as assigned.
