Job Description

Groundskeeper/ Landscaper (3082) (Grounds)

Location: Fort Smith, AR, United States of America

Salary: $14.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Prepare trucks and equipment for daily work, including loading and securing tools and supplies.
• Perform groundskeeping tasks such as mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, watering, fertilizing, and weed control.
• Operate powered equipment including mowers, tractors, snow blowers, chain-saws, and other landscaping tools.
• Shovel snow and spread salt during winter conditions.
• Maintain and repair grounds and equipment, ensuring safety and functionality.
• Assist with planting, flower installation, and landscape beautification projects.
• Perform other grounds-related duties as assigned, including snow removal and site cleanup.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Some experience in lawn care or landscaping is helpful.
• Ability to operate lawn care machinery such as mowers and edgers.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to problem-solve and work independently or in a team.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, perform heavy lifting, and work in various weather conditions.

Work Schedule

Full-time, Monday-Friday, 10-hour shifts, off Fridays. Must be available for snow removal during nights, weekends, and holidays.
