Job summary

Cardinal Group in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the safety and appearance of the property’s common areas. You will keep the clubhouse, offices, and hallways clean and presentable, and support curb appeal and resident turnover.

Responsibilities include maintaining landscaping, assisting with turnover preparation, and coordinating with the Maintenance Team Leader. Strong English communication and physical stamina are required; a High School Diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Shows a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and energy.
• Able to use hand tools and basic equipment.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Capable of standing, walking and performing physical labor up to eight hours per day.
• Communicates and comprehends in English.
• possessing a High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety, cleanliness and appearance of all common areas including clubhouse, offices, model, hallways.
• Keep dumpster areas clean and prepared for trash pick-up.
• Maintain landscaping and watering of flowers.
• Ensure apartments look their best before new residents move in.
• Report issues needing attention to supervisor.
• Assist with apartment turnovers as directed.
• Communicate with Maintenance Team Leader about problems needing attention.
• Respond to emergencies per policies and procedures.
• Participate in required training and adhere to all policies.
• Contribute to resident satisfaction by meeting or exceeding expectations.
