Job summary

Greystar is seeking an entry level Groundskeeper for Dexter Lake Union, a 201 unit mid-rise in Seattle. Join a team focused on clean, safe, and welcoming community spaces with housing discounts and a strong benefits package.

You will maintain outdoor areas, assist with make-ready, and support the service team while upholding Greystar’s standards and safety requirements. This role includes flexible outdoor work in varied weather.

Qualifications

• Previous groundskeeping experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs without assistance.
• Ability to work outside in different elements.
• Excellent communication skills: ability to read, write and communicate effectively.
• Knowledgeable in safe use of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspects the community to remove litter and ensure common areas are neat at all times.
• Removes trash from vacant apartments prior to the make-ready process and maintains storage areas.
• Completes minor service requests and assists in the turn process.
• Changes locks and ensures pool area gates work according to safety codes.
• Distributes notices to residents as necessary.
• Reports hazards to supervisors promptly.
• Demonstrates customer service by treating residents with respect and addressing concerns.
• Follows safety policies and attends required safety meetings.
