Job summary

BrightView is seeking a Landscaper I to perform landscape maintenance across commercial properties. You will mow, trim, edge, prune, plant beds, and assist with general upkeep under supervision. This role requires safe operation of commercial landscaping equipment and a courteous, guest-focused demeanor.

Applicants must be 18+, and hold Level 1 equipment certification. The position involves physical work outdoors, exposure to heat, and safe handling of tools and materials.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Certified on level 1 equipment (backpack blower, stick edger, string trimmer, walk-behind mower).
• Familiar with basic horticultural maintenance operations/practices.

Responsibilities

• Cut turf using power mowers, trimming and edging, and operating a gas-powered blower.
• Prune shrubs and low trees to improve shape or remove damaged branches.
• Plant and maintain flower beds.
• Operate edger and line trimmer along sidewalks and features.
• Maintain equipment and perform basic preventative maintenance.
• Report unsafe conditions to Crew Leader.
