Job summary

SSC Services for Education is seeking a groundskeeper at TAMU SA Grounds in San Antonio, TX. The role offers a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday with varying hours, including Saturdays. Pay ranges from $14.00 to $15.50 per hour, with benefits and potential for same-day pay.

Position requires prior groundskeeping experience is preferred but not required. Training is provided, and opportunities for growth exist within Compass Group’s education facilities network.

• Prior groundskeeping experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality customer service to customers by providing one-on-one attention to detail.
• Inspects common areas and reports deficiencies to Maintenance Supervisor.
• Inspects exterior of the property and grounds; reports deficiencies to Maintenance Supervisor.
• Mows lawns weekly during the proper season. Cleans landscaping tools and equipment after each use.
• Trims bushes to maintain neat appearance and desired shape.
